I’m a young journalist who recently finished up my final year at Elon University and looking for a job where I can use my writing and multimedia skills to tell others’ stories. and have recently been hired by The Sanford Herald.  I’ve held four internships at local North Carolina newspapers, several freelancing positions and served as the editor-in-chief, managing editor and business manager for the Elon’s student news organization, The Pendulum.

I enjoy chasing sirens, submitting public record requests and getting ink on my hands.  I’m an expert thumb wrestler, have a weakness for Dt. Mountain Dew and enjoy conspiracy theories.  I hope to someday work in Nairobi, Kenya.
